ART PROJECT 2007:
At an exhibition I handed 150 small individual works to visitors. Acrylic on heavy paper, wound with liquorice laces - and numbered.
Recipients were then to determine whether they would eat the licorice part, and thus both destroy and complete the work. It was fun but also a dilemma for many, and there was obviously different responses to my call for eating of the art.
The result was attention and much talk about what art is.
ART PROJECT 2008:
Once I had 2 digital prints online, with a call to download and print one of these artworks and bring it to my ungoing exhibithion at an artfair.
Here I signed it for free. And again there was basis for a good dialog about art.
